Materials and methods. Analysis was based on the data of official statistics, such as materials of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being and its Directorate for the Samara Region.
Results. During the period 2002 to 2018, the rate of an increase in the incidence of CHB decreased in both the entire country and the Samara Region. There were positive results of the impact of hepatitis B immunoprophylaxis in the population of the Samara Region. Hepatitis B vaccination in children below the age of 18 years led to the fact that there was no new case of CHB infection among those in the region in the past 3 years.
